Home to the Chicago Bulls from 1967 to 1994, Chicago Stadium was the largest indoor arena in the world with a seating capacity of 17,000 when it opened in 1929 at a cost of $9.5 million. A piece of the red surface of flooring, as shown in these photos, was salvaged from the blank before the pen was made and is included with the pen.
This pen uses elegant Sierra style hardware featuring chrome and gun metal accents, and a one-of-a-kind center piece featuring components of the wooden basketball court. Color and density of floor material varies, with each pen having a unique appearance. Pens are approximately 5" long and come loaded with a replaceable Parker-style black in ballpoint. This listing is for one pen.
All pens come with a certificate of authenticity certifying that the pen's center piece was made of authentic Chicago Stadium basketball court floor.
