New York was without a Major League Baseball team after the 1956 season when the Dodgers and Giants left for California the following year. Originally as the William A. Shea Municipal Stadium, the stadium was later renamed Shea Stadium for the man that was responsible for bringing baseball back to New York City. The centerpiece of this unique pen is made from the padded walls of the stadium.
This pen uses elegant Sierra style hardware featuring chrome and black metal accents, and its feature component wall piece was finished with a high friction polish to protect and preserve against fingerprints. Color and density of the material varies, with each pen having a unique appearance. Pens are approximately 5" long and come loaded with a replaceable Parker-style black ink ballpoint. This listing is for one pen.
All pens come with a certificate of authenticity certifying that the pen's center piece was made of authentic Shea Stadium padded wall material.
