Marking the first entry in our historical collectible pen series, this hefty nautical hardware pen features an embedded piece of sailcloth and two pieces of wood from the deck of "Old Ironsides" officially known as the U.S.S. Constitution. The wood from the ship is made of Southern Live Oak giving the ship its strength and sturdiness that helped it earn her nickname.

The U.S.S. Constitution is the world's oldest commissioned naval vessel still afloat. She was launched on October 21, 1797. Today, her station mission is to promote understanding of the Navy's role in war and peace through educational outreach, historical demonstration, and active participation in public events as part of the Naval History & Heritage Command.

This pen measures approximately 5" long and features a tip with a large sail powered vessel, an anchor wrapped in corded rope, and a tip that features a compass. This pen is 100% certified to be authentic and comes with a certificate of authenticity. This listing is for one pen.
